Junior Academy

The Hayling Junior Academy has started for children over 5 looking to get into golf. The sessions take place on a Sunday afternoon1pm – 2pm. During the sessions all aspects of the game are covered with the aim of introducing the basics of the technique and how to adapt them in a variety of situations that they can be faced with on the golf course.

Titleist has released 2 new drivers to go alongside the TS2 and TS3. The TS4 driver features a smaller 440cc head and sits slightly open. This driver is a very low launching and low spinning head, aimed at low handicappers and professionals.

The TS1 model is lighter than all other drivers and is easier to launch and use. This is a product aimed at all golfers.

Wow. What a strike

How good does it feel when you strike the ball right out of the sweet spot? Pretty special, right? As much as we'd all love to, striking the centre of the clubface on every shot isn't realistic, which is why opting for some irons with added MOI could make all the difference.

What is MOI?

An iron’s actual sweet spot is no bigger than a pinhead, with anything struck outside resulting in the clubhead beginning to twist at impact – this is what is commonly referred to as MOI. The higher a club's MOI, the more stable it is through impact and therefore more resistant to twisting. So...
