Titleist fitting day

In the market for new equipment?

Our Titleist fitting day is to be held on Friday, 25 October. Appointments are available between 11am and 4pm. This is a great opportunity to try any clubs from the current Titleist range and be fitted using a TrackMan launch monitor.

Coaching news

Does your child want to get into golf?

The Junior Academy at Hayling Golf Club has now begun.

The Academy will consist of six one-hour golf lessons on consecutive Sundays. The focus of the Academy is to introduce Children to our great game.

If you know of any children over the age of four that would be interested in trying golf, please ask them to contact Peter in the Professional shop on 02392 464446 or pete-91@live.com.

Ladies group lesson

There will be a group lesson for lady golfers on Friday, 25 October at 10am.

This session will cover driving.

The cost of the one-hour session is £5 per person.

Seniors group lesson

There will be a group lesson for senior golfers taking place on Thursday, 31 October at 10am.

The session will cover long irons and fairway woods.

The cost of the one-hour lesson is £5 per person.

PGA in Hampshire Alliance Championships -Wednesday, 30 October 2019

If you would like to play alongside one of Hampshire's PGA professionals at this event, please contact the pro shop.

The day consists of 18 holes Fourball Betterball with a PGA Professional, coffee on arrival and a two-course dinner after play, prizes for the winning teams, the cost per person is £35.

Men and Ladies all welcome to play.

Who had a pair of these?

I'm sure the shoes below will make a lot of you smile. It's been a long time since golf shoes looked like the first image and it's safe to say that comfort, style and traction have all come a long way since then - even if some of us think the overlapping tongues looked great!

Old style shoes

It wasn't just the daring uppers and striking tongue that defined golf shoes from yesteryear; flip the shoes upside down and the hard leather outsole featured single metal spikes that resembled weapons more so than traction pods.
